What is KSNT Weekend of Giving?
An on-line giving charitable event designed to raise money to assist residents of Shawnee County. Contributions made during the event to the Topeka Community Foundation’s Live, Work & Give COVID-19 Response Fund will be awarded to nonprofit organizations which have expanded or created new programs in response to emergency needs created by the corona virus.

When is the Weekend of Giving?
From Friday, May 8th through Sunday, May 10th.

How and where do I donate?
Contributions to the Topeka Community Foundation’s Live, Work & Give COVID-19 Response Fund can be made on-line at www.KSNT.com/giving.

Which nonprofit organizations will benefit?
Any nonprofit organization serving Shawnee County residents is eligible to apply for funding to assist them in their work to meet needs caused by the corona virus.

Is there a minimum or maximum donation amount?
There is no minimum or maximum donation amount.

Can I mail in my donation?
Yes. If you would like to mail in a donation, please make your check payable to the Topeka Community Foundation and mail it to 5431 SW 29th Street, Suite 300, Topeka KS 66614. Please note on the check it is for the Live, Work & Give COVID Response Fund. (Because the Foundation’s office is closed to the public at this time, please do not hand-deliver checks to the Foundation.)

How will my gift be used?
Any nonprofit organization can apply for a grant through the Topeka Community Foundation’s Live Work and Give COVID-19 Response Fund. The application is available on the Foundation’s web site. Once submitted, the Foundation will review and respond with a funding decision in two business days. Grant dollars are being awarded to organizations which have expanded or created new programs in response to emergency needs created by the corona virus. To whom should my check be made payable?
Checks should be made payable to the Topeka Community Foundation and be mailed to the Foundation at 5431 SW 29th Street, Suite 300, Topeka, KS  66614. Please note on the check that the contribution is for the Live, Work & Give COVID-19 Relief Fund. 

What percentage of my donation will assist nonprofit organizations?
100% of your gift will go to nonprofit organizations serving Shawnee County residents.  The Topeka Community Foundation will cover the costs of on-line contribution processing fees – so the entire contribution will help those who need help the most.

How can nonprofit organizations apply for grants?
The on-line grant application can be accessed on the Topeka Community Foundation’s web site at www.topekacommunityfoundation.org. Once submitted, a funding decision is made in two business days.

Can my gift be private?
Yes, you can choose for your gift to be made anonymously. Additionally, the Foundation will not share any donor information with any other organization.

Is my gift tax deductible?
Yes, your gift is 100% tax deductible as allowable by law.
