TOPEKA COMMUNITY FOUNDATION ANNOUNCES NEWLY ELECTED BOARD MEMBERS

The Board of Directors of the Topeka Community Foundation recently elected three new board members to serve three-year terms beginning in 2026. They are: Molly Howey, CEO of the Greater Topeka Partnership; Todd Payne, CFO, CCO, and Secretary/Treasurer of OFG Financial Services, Inc.; and Mark Slyter, President and CEO of Stormont Vail Health.

“Each new member brings valuable skills and a deep commitment to our community. I look forward to working with them to grow our current initiatives and community impact,” said Board Chair Shane Van Dalsem, Associate Professor at the Brenneman School of Business at Washburn University. “We are grateful for their willingness to join us in our work and make a positive difference through our donor services and impact investing.”

The officers of the Board of Directors include Shane Van Dalsem, Chair; Keith Warta, Vice Chair; Shelly Buhler, Secretary; Pam Alexander, Assistant Secretary; Brian Lang, Treasurer; and Jennifer Sourk, Immediate Past Chair.

Since 1983, the Topeka Community Foundation has partnered with donors to improve the quality of life in our region through effective and accountable charitable giving. Today, the Community Foundation manages almost 400 charitable funds established by individuals, families, businesses and nonprofit organizations. Together, these funds represent ordinary people who have made extraordinary commitments to our community.
