Meet Our Board: Brian Lang, Treasurer

As the current Treasurer, Brian Lang brings his financial expertise to the Topeka Community Foundation Board of Directors. Brian is the CEO of SSC CPAs + Advisors with more than 20 years of experience in the industry.

What is your “Why” for joining the board?
I joined the Topeka Community Foundation board because I truly believe in what we’re doing to strengthen our community. Helping connect resources, people, and opportunities to create lasting impact is something I’m passionate about.

What is the role of philanthropy in our community?
Philanthropy brings people together to make good things happen—it’s how we invest in our neighbors and build a stronger, more vibrant Topeka for everyone.

Tell us a little more about yourself.
I’ve been married to my wife for 25 years, and we have two wonderful children. Our daughter graduated college and returned to Topeka to start her career, and our son is a junior at Washburn University. I love spending time outdoors—boating, biking, traveling with my family, and exploring new places whenever we can.
