Meet Our Board: Molly Howey, CEcD, IOM
Molly Howey, CEcD, IOM, is one of the newest members to the Topeka Community Foundation Board of Directors. In July of 2025, she was selected as CEO of the Greater Topeka Partnership after 15 years at GO Topeka. She is an experienced leader in economic development and an asset to the Foundation’s work of building a Topeka where everyone can thrive.
What is your “Why” for joining the board?
I believe the Topeka Community Foundation is essential because it turns generosity into real, measurable progress, fueling nonprofits, neighborhood leaders, and collaborative efforts that make our region stronger and more resilient. As a community member, I value how the Foundation helps people feel connected to something bigger than themselves, creating pathways for families and ideas to thrive so Topeka’s success is truly shared.
Tell us a little more about yourself.
I love to camp with my family at area lakes; Music gives me joy – especially live music! Our family is big into board games and cards. This summer I will celebrate 15 years with the Greater Topeka Partnership. My hometown is Overbrook, Kansas, where my dad still owns a small business building custom cabinets since 1987.
